Band Notes
March
is "Music in Our Schools Month." Let's support our school musicians
by attending the concert on Tuesday, March 4th!
Saturday,
March 1st - 7th/8th grade rehearsal for concert festival at LHS band room.
Rehearsal
will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Make sure
you take your instrument & music home with you on Friday!!!
Pizza
lunch will be provided following rehearsal
bring your own soda/water/juice.
Tuesday,
March 4th - Band Concert at 7:00 p.m. in the gym. Donations welcome.
Thursday,
March 6th - Possible after-school practice for 7th/8th grade students going to
concert festival
Saturday, March 8th - Concert Festival at Southwest
VA Community College
- 7th/8th grade students from Pennington & Jonesville
Middle Schools will be leaving from Lee High at 8:00 a.m. Letters have been sent
home with more details. Chaperones are needed.
- Wear black & white
concert uniforms.
- Bring $ for lunch.
Friday, April 18th

- 7th/8th grade students from PMS & JMS will perform
a variety of music at our county's annual fine arts festival
